Oh man. This place was a huge disappointment. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it certainly was more than what we got for dinner last night. The chicken was...okay. Pretty standard fare. The sides were horrible. We had the cheesy potatoes (that melted the styrofoam container they were served in), the cole slaw (which was mediocre at best), and the Mac and cheese (which is something you should just avoid period). Also got a combo sandwich. The sausage in the sandwich tasted freezer-burned and the beef was dry. The bread was way too chewy and the biscuits were...meh. The tables were oddly sticky. I couldn't even wipe it down and get it to feel not sticky so we just dealt with it and made sure that NOTHING came close to touching the surface. The only reason this place gets even a second star was because the chicken was edible. You know what's funny? Our favorite place for fried chicken is Popeye's. I love fried chicken. I crave Popeye's. I'll never crave Brown's.

The chicken is the only thing keeping this place open. The decor and restaurant end is horrible and poorly maintained. The food is cheap priced and chicken is standard greasy fare. There is no money being put back into the business. Shame. For something quick and cheap this is it. Just take it to go.

The Browns chicken sandwich used to be my guilty pleasure. Not the healthiest choice given the mayo, cheese, etc but every now and then you've got to splurge. At least according to my culinary guide. Sadly, the sandwich ain't what it used to be. The cheese came from the mac and cheese steamer bin so needless to say the sandwich was a mess. The fries also used to be very tasty; crinkle cut with a slight fried chicken taste. Now they are the much like any other fast food fry. They were undercooked as well (fries should be crispy golden brown - not white) so another fail. Scratch another guilty pleasure from my list (along with Twinkies and Milk Shake candy bars). All was not lost though, my gf did enjoy her regular chicken pieces so maybe I just need to order something else other than the sandwich. Seems like hit or miss.

I rated this Brown's location three stars. Like was said in another review, its "average". Food was pretty good (I strayed away from their mainstay chicken and ordered the hotdogs I saw advertised prominently in the store) but the decor needs a litte sprucing up. Too many shades of beige, off-white, buff and pale pink (I dined in - can you tell?). Before Brown's moved into this location, it had been another fried-chicken joint. I think Brown's did little remodeling besides slapping a coat of paint on everything. Oh, check out the bathrooms. They're tiny.

Not so good... go somewhere else.. chicken was terrible. Seemed soggy and undercooked. The restaurant itself is run down. Honey seemed old. Light fixtures falling fromthe ceiling.. dirty place.. staff is rude

My brother and I took advantage of a few Superbowl coupons I received via email from Brown's. The chicken was very good that day, I hadn't been to Brown's in a long time and I was not disappointed. They also have these corn fritters and they are outstanding.

We had dinner here and we ordered some Italian Beefs. The Sandwich was dense and the center cold. We asked if they could reheat them - and the person at the counter shook his head "no" as he took the sandwiches back to reheat. When they came back, they were unusually greasy - we thought we'd be pushing our luck to ask them to re-make so we just dumped everything and found another option for dinner. Don't know about the Chicken here, this was our first (last) visit.

This was an average restaurant -- it's a chain! I'd never had Brown's Chicken before and my husband had been wanting to try it for the longest time. So, we did. We ended up ordering 3-4 piece chicken, corn fritters, and mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken was fine -- not too many comments about the chicken. It was standard. There was nothing fantastic! about the chicken. It was crispy. Ummm, okay...moving on. The corn fritters were very tasty. Very heavy, though. They have real pieces of corn in the corn fritter. It was pretty reasonable. I believe we got 5 corn fritters for about $1? Mashed Potatoes? I wasn't a fan of the gravy for the mashed potatoes. It was the light brown gravy, thick, and ... it didn't really taste like too much. Soo, yeah. Not a fan. All in all. A-Okay because they have some decent daily specials. I need to go and check out their other daily specials... one day.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
